About Cottonwick
We build adoptions around what happens at home.
Cottonwick started in 2014, when veterinary technician Ines Carvajal-Lund began fostering puppies in her Corrales backyard.
No shelter building, on purpose
A home tells you more than a kennel can.
About 45 foster homes give every Cottonwick animal a real daily life while they wait. That means we can tell you how they react to kids, cats, company, quiet, and the little things that make a match work.
- 380 adoptions last year.
- Foster-based from day one.
- No animal put down for space.
The people behind the handoff

“The fee already covered both kittens’ spay, shots and microchips. Our vet asked who we adopted from.”Carla and Pete S., Corrales
